Rice coach Wayne Graham, who has won more than 900 games and led the Owls to a national championship and 16 consecutive conference championships, was announced Friday as one of seven inductees into the College Baseball Hall of Fame. [...] being inducted will be Lou Brock, a Major League Baseball Hall of Famer who was a star at Southern University; former Lewis Clark State coach Ed Cheff; Nomar Garciaparra, a three-time All-America at Georgia Tech; Tim Jorgensen, a two-time Division III player of the year at Wisconsin-Oshkosh; Brad Wilkerson, a three-time All-America and player of the year at Florida; and Frank Sancet, who led Arizona to 10 College World Series appearances. In 21 seasons at Rice, Graham has won 921 games and led the Owls to 16 consecutive outright or shared conference regular season or tournament championships.
