TEXAS CITY - Photographs filling the walls of College of the Mainland's small gallery space for FotoFest 2012 capture the advancement of cellphone-camera technology. [...] I thought since this is a community college, this gallery should be for people in the community as well as students. The only rules were that photos be taken and edited with the user's cell phone. With the help of Kristy Peet, an associate professor of photography, 128 photos were chosen for the exhibit.
