MURDO, S.D. (AP) ? The funeral for U.S. Sen. John Thune's mother is Saturday in Murdo. Yvonne Patricia "Pat" Thune died Wednesday morning. She was 90. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Murdo Methodist Church. The Isburg Funeral Home in Pierre is in charge of funeral arrangements. Sen. Thune recalled his mother as a devoted and loving woman who encouraged him and his siblings to work hard and do their best.
