David Ortiz said prior to the Red Sox' game against the White Sox Tuesday that after undergoing an MRI on his injured right achilles tendon earlier in the day, it was determined that he will wear a protective boot for a week and then be reevaluated after that. Ortiz will, however, fly to Miami either Tuesday or Wednesday to get a second opinion, which will be conducted by Miami Heat team doctor Harlan Selesnick.
