The Big Fish of Botafogo Beach
A big message in more than one bottle? The fish jumping up from the sand at Botafogo Beach in Rio de Janeiro appeared in time for the Rio+20 U.N. Conference on Sustainable Development last week in the Brazilian city. They are made of plastic bottles, presumably to convey a recycling theme. Regardless, they are stunning -- and they light up in the dark. Here are some pictures of the fish by day and by night. -- Mary Forgione
