Lamar, which made it to the Class 5A regional semifinals last season, is experienced everywhere except the offensive line, and the Redskins' seasoning has been apparent in two 30-plus-point victories. Lamar allowed only a fourth-quarter field goal to Klein Forest and scored enough points in the second quarter alone to defeat Elkins last week. Coach Tom Nolen has been pleased with everything except an inordinate number of mental mistakes such as 15-yard penalties and kicking the ball the wrong way.
